I know that when at the track you are working but the graciousness you showed in taking the time for an autograph (the helmet) a picture (on your bike no less) and a chat meant a lot. Misti, I don’t know if you actually read these or not, but WOW, I am thrilled to read your story! I am 25, have been riding streetbikes for almost 8 years, and have always been crazy about riding. I want to start racing, but not exactly sure the best way to start. Some friends and I are going to go to some track days, we figure that will get us in less trouble than we get into on the streets, and hopefully that will take me somewhere farther. I am currently in Japan on an extended stay and the thing I think I miss most is my 636. I am hoping to be back to watch the race at Laguna Seca. Will you be there? If you have any tips/strategies for getting my foot in the door, I would Love to hear from you. You seem like a really cool, motivated woman with some awesome interests.
